Visionary Multi Media Artist
Terence E Jackson is an artist who loves wearing many hats that include performance artist, playwright, singer, novelist, visual artist, dancer, curator, and filmmaker. Raised in Detroit, Michigan - Mr. Jackson feels that the purpose of art is to educate through entertainment. Having studied many different styles and forms of art, he now utilizes a deconstructionist approach when it comes to creating sound and language projects.
Combining this understanding with his earnest gift of communication has led him to continually strive to create works that breakthrough, engage, and challenge audiences to look deeper and listen more closely to their inner voice.
His credits include working with the art rock band - Harper Fragment, NY's Urban Arts Society, & North Side Crew, Atlanta's - High Museum, The Gussie Gallery, Werehausen Art Space, The Red Light Gallery, the experimental spaces - 800 East & SAME, and the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Arts Festival to name a few.
Having had the pleasure of living and working all over the world, he is the founder and executive director of U*Space - an interdisciplinary art space in Atlanta, Georgia.
